  25. The messages are not purged just because they have been "read". For that
  26. they need to be "deleted", and this can be achieved in at least two
  27. ways: Automatically, based on number of messages and/or number of days
  28. (see conference config) or manually by pressing RAmiga-D. When you run
  29. "Pack/Purge Msgs" all "deleted" messages are removed physically from the
  30. disk.
