- The messages are not purged just because they have been "read". For that
- they need to be "deleted", and this can be achieved in at least two
- ways: Automatically, based on number of messages and/or number of days
- (see conference config) or manually by pressing RAmiga-D. When you run
- "Pack/Purge Msgs" all "deleted" messages are removed physically from the
- disk.
